Horror Marathon Day 1: Trick ‘r Treat

Trick ‘r Treat (2007)

So saw this movie only because I was planning on going to Hollywood Horror Nights at Universal City.  They have a number of themed mazed based on movies, and one was from this older jem, Trick ‘r Treat.  I had to find it which was it’s own challenge (it’s not on Amazon Prime nor Netflix).

After seeing the film and going to the maze (which was one of the best of the 8 mazes at Hollywood Horror Nights) I gotta say I was surprised happliy surprised by the film.  Having Brian Cox is always a good sign and while he played a small role, it was great to see him.

This film is an anthology, a la Creepshow but did have a thread of connective tissue storyline for all the stories.  It was fun, definitely a rental, but it’s not on the top 20 horror films, that’s for sure.
